The University of Washington Southeast Asia Center presents an original multimedia play.

Based on a collection of oral histories gathered from members of Seattle's vibrant and diverse Southeast Asian communities, Ribbons to Roots: The Threads that (Un) Bind Us is a play about migration: things lost, found, forgotten, and rediscovered. Featuring students from the University of Washington's "Re-Writing Difficult Dialogues" class. Ribbons to Roots is a community engaged theatre that weaves together stories of our homes, our histories, and our sense of place.

Performances are free and open to the public.
